Catherine has more than 25 years’ experience in senior portfolio management, executive and directorship roles.

She was previously a director and CEO of the Maples Group management company, a position she held until March 2021. Prior to that she established and was CEO of an Italian bank’s Irish subsidiary and fund management company.

Since 2021 she has worked as an independent non-executive director and chairperson of regulated investment management companies and funds.

She is a former chairperson of the Irish Funds Investment Risk Working Group and former member of the Irish Funds Asset Management and Front Office Steering Groups.

Catherine holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons) from Trinity College Dublin, an MSc in Investment, Treasury and Banking from Dublin City University, an MA in International Studies from the University of Limerick and a post graduate diploma in Applied Finance Law from the Law Society of Ireland.

She is a member of the Institute of Directors Ireland.
