John-George is by background a corporate lawyer, specialising in M&A and corporate governance. He founded and ran the Corporate Department at Tughans, Belfast where he was also Senior Partner. In his last five years leading the Corporate team at Tughans, the firm ranked first for the number of corporate M&A transactions among NI law firms having a 35% market share.
He currently chairs three businesses, namely the McKinstry Waste Management Group; Pivotal, a major cash-in-transit and ATM operator in Ireland and UK with 2500 ATMs; and Vertical Structure, a Belfast based cyber security business delivering penetration testing, training and consultancy services.
