Máire O’Connor – Chairman of Melior AIFM
Máire is a former Partner of McCann FitzGerald, where she was head of the firm’s Investment Management Group. Prior to joining McCann Fitzgerald, Máire was a Partner at Ernst & Young (EY) and also headed up that firm’s Investment Management Group.
Máire was a key figure in the development of Ireland’s International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) and the international investment funds industry, in particular. She chaired the Taoiseach’s Investment Funds Group for seven years and was a member of the Company Law Review Group for eight years.
Máire is currently a Director of a number of regulated Investment Management companies. Previous Board positions include The Irish Stock Exchange, where she was Chair of the Audit Committee, and Scotiabank Ireland, including membership of the Audit and Risk Committees.
Maire’s primary degree is in Music and music continues to play an important part in her life. She served on the Board and chaired the Audit and Risk Committee of the National Concert Hall from 2016 to 2021.
